NullDC DreamCast Emulator PS3 Port Update, BiOS Operational

Porting is the name, progress is the aim. drk||Raziel has reported that the BiOS on the NullDC (DreamCast emu) is operational and running!

    To quote:
"Letsee .. oh wait, it cross compiled ! *yay* for uber portable code ;p Interpreter only / underclock 4x / no pvr rendering / no audio / no input. Bios intro runs fine, then gets on the clock dialog screen. YAY !"
It is currently being produced on a PS3 Debug unit due to it's remote debugging feature. Although the code will still be able to be run on retail PS3's as well. Lets have a look at the log file below

    Code:

Wont be long now before we see the Sega DreamCast running on our PS3'S.

    Update via psgroove.com:
drk||Raziel wanted me to mention he still does not have any hardware of his own, he is currently sending all his code off to be tested.

It'll take a while to get running nicely though won't it? How cross-compatible is the emulator's source with programming for the PS3?

Is the repeating lines at the end of it the speed?
It looks like it, if it is 50% speed on the BIOS in a few days is good.

No this is exactly what we want man! The best times of the PSP scene was when there was so much news you couldn't keep up. I'm going to not take these times for granted

I think it's funny how emulators start out, for example, first Xbox 360 xmulator was the SNES. But for Ps3?
    Dreamcast.
