You're right about OtherOS, and while hardware PS1 emulation WAS removed with the 80GB PS3 phat -- all PS3s, slim and otherwise -- do software PS1 emulation.

Stick in a PS1 disc and tell me you don't have any backwards compatibility.

Guys, I'm probably going to start messing around with this emulator.

Don't know if the original author will object, and no promises as of yet, but it looks like this would make a good candidate to basically port over to the SNES9x framework we have been building.

Halsafar could probably take some pointers from the GL code as well to get video input properly working in the FCEU port.

Glad all of the devs so far are keepin' it open-source so that we can all share and learn.
