So, anyone heard of any news on getting a N64 emulator (Project64 ?) running on the PS3.
I fancy a bit of Super Mario 64 or Diddy Kong myself

would be pretty good! seems to be an emulator for most other consoles
daedalusx64 is on PSP, i dont know much about how good it runs on the PSP. But dont you think this might be the easier candidate to port over to ps3 ?
Browsed their forums dosnt seem no one asked them about to port it over to ps3 or something (maybe deleted the threads)
Then we got Project 64 1.6 best of the best and with the power of the PS3, probably will run perfectly on it. Seems they are working on 1.7 for Windows so i dont know if their ever going to port it. Dont know if the 1.6 version is open source or not.
Then Mupen64 which is made to support other platforms etc. which is open source, might be a candidate as well.
I just hope to see an N64 emu on the PS3 soon :> maybe in a few months who knows.
For kicks, they should port over 1964 lolz. It was the only emulator to be able to run smash bros. Project 64 is the best though, no diggety doubt ya'll. Daedalus took to long to be usable, so I lost interest quickly.
So, here's my formal vote for a port of Project 64 1.6.
I've heard this plays one game and not even at full speed, give it time, the team that would be porting it is now working on a Dolphin (Wii) port, since they already have snes nes and gba done (kind of) hey how about the DS I bet that would really piss Nintendo off having all there consoles on PS3
Are there any PPC 64 emulators? Those would be a much easier port.
Thanks to chesh I am getting the required files so I can take a stab at the PJ64 Emuator. As stated above, PJ64 team only has Version 1.4 Source available. Hopefully I can do this. I got some good knowledge on computers but I guess this will test my knowledge. Wish me luck.
