Yeah its good news indeed, as much as a new recent port is wanted and appreciated, also older mame ports are welcomed too, newer releases are more compatible which is great in the ever increasing CPU world of the PC, but older versions tend to run various games faster at the loss of compatibility, but this would mean the best of both worlds if we get two ports....alot of console/handheld ports are based on older versions for this reason too.

amazing release ...works like a charm...a couple of minor speed issues on certain roms..but for a first release its brilliant ...keep up the amazing work m8,

I asked Robo Hobo about this a while back and had heard he was working on porting version 142 over....so I went ahead and got the FULL 142 romset at the time. Uploading them would be a pain in the ass because there are around 31GB of games there! But Google is a good friend in the search lol

So, do the roms from FBA work on MAME? E.G. CPS1/CPS2.

Yes I had some FBA roms work with this emulator, I tried 1943 and aero fighters
