Inquiry about a possible Nintendo 64 emulator

Earlier today I found my bag of instruction manuals for all my NES, SNES, GB, GBA and, my personal favorite, N64 games. Unfortunately, I don't have the games themselves anymore. After an emotional bought of nostalgia and the sad realizations of growing up, I came here to seek information on whether a Nintendo 64 emulator is being ported or developed.

I don't want to sound like another one of those countless and ungrateful users who demand games and homebrew as I do realized that these types of things require a great deal of work, but I would like to know if anyone has heard of a Nintendo 64 emulator being constructed for the Playstation 3. I'm confident that the PS3 is beyond the capabilities of running it, seeing as how a PS1 emulator has already been made and that there is a working, albeit slow, N64 emulator for the PSP.
