Hi there fellas, I just found a folder on my Ps3 named 'PSPEMU', Its right under the PS2EMU and PS1EMU on my PS3- Its backwards compatible. I looked at the Icon and its a Mini logo, but the folder is actually called PSPEMU. IOs this new, or has this been found before?
I Imagine someone who knows how to create emu's would be able to use this to hopefully crete a fully working PSPEMU. I have the folder dumped if any devs wanna have a look at it. Hopefully this isn't old news- Why would Sony name it PSP EMU if it couldnt emulate PSP games? Surely someone can get this or help me to test to see if this can work-cheers.

Yes, it's a PSP emulator as you can see with PSP minis you can buy on PSN.
And yes, it's old news

Yes unfortunatly it's only for those dumb childish psp mini games. And most likely there will never be a way to get the system to play PSP games. And even if there ever is...the games will look uber pixled. I can prove that. I got Joylite plugin for my PSP to be able to play them on my PC Monitor, when you put it to full screen it IS nice to see it at full screen but they look pixly and rough, but easily playable. It really depends on how picky people are, I love it at full screen with joylite I don't care if its pixled I can see the whole thing perfectly find. All the text is easy to read and the game plays fine. But ya...
