FM2K port/emulator?

I was wondering if it would be possible to port or emulate Fighter Maker 2K. There's a couple of games I'd like to bring with me without having to take my computer places.

Never heard of it, if it's open source then It could be possible, but it's all up the people with the know how and if they can be bothered, personally though, i think (again if open source) MUGEN would be the better one to port, some amazing games have been made in that.

As someone who plays fighting games competitively, MUGEN is completely ass. Nothing of value has never been made from it. Both are open source though.
