Hey all. I've been having a problem with my emulators (SNES 9x and the genesis emulator) where the second controller acts like the first controller. It's like they are both synced as 1. Because of this, I cannot play 2 player games. On a 2 player game where it says "Second player press start" it recognizes the second controller as the first... so basically I have 2 controllers for player 1. I don't have any problem playing 2 player ps3 games though.. so I don't know if its a problem with my ps3 or if its my emulator settings. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help

This should have been fixed in the current version of SNES9x PS3 (4.4.6).

Genesis Plus GX PS3 doesn't yet have twoplayer support - I'm going to get around to doing that - I have some releases over the next coming days.

Ah yeah, I thought I updated but was on 4.4.5. I updated to 4.4.6 but now when I go to boot a game, the screen goes black.

Edit- never mind. I fixed it :x

Just curious - but what happened to be the problem with the screen going black? I would like to know since I keep getting reports from people that the emulator locks up on them when they select 'Don't set up Multitap' in the dialog screen (when selecting a Multitap game such as NBA JAM) - the strange thing about that is that I can't reproduce this freeze - it doesn't happen on my JB 3.41.

So I'm thinking perhaps it's an outdated version of snes9x.conf that is the cause of this - or perhaps it's something to do with the CFW 3.55s. It could also be just my firmware - but I find that to be doubtful because it does work for me without problems.

I'm not sure what the problem with the screen going black was. I tried loading nba jam, and it gave me the message about the multi-tap support, and then it froze. I fixed the controller settings for that, by turning the accessory option off and then I put it on 4xsoft-HD and point filtering, and it started working properly.

edit- It didn't only freeze on nba jam, or games with accessory support... it was happening on everything I tried to load... if that helps.
