SNES9x PS3 - Borders
I've included one preset just for your convenience - and three borders ('Chrono Trigger', 'Super Castlevania IV', and 'Super Metroid'). Here is how it works -
In FBO/Dual Shader mode ON:
Select any shader you want for Shader 1, and then select a 'border' shader for Shader 2. The border shader has to correspond to the 'Custom Scaling Factor' - for instance, if you have it set to 4x - then you will need 'border-water-fbo-scale-4x.cg' as shader 2.
In non-FBO/Dual shader mode OFF:
Select ''border-water-non-fbo.cg' as shader 1.
BTW - you will notice that the 'border' shader preset also configures the aspect ratio - so yes, that's now in as well.
About the border format:
It's PNG. If you're going to make your own borders - couple of things to keep in mind:
* If you're going to play this at (say) 1920x1080 resolution, then your border file needs to be that big (in image dimensions) . If you're going to play at a lower resolution, then you will need a border with that resolution size - at the moment, there are only three border files for 1080p only.
* Lastly - 'borders' go into the USRDIR/borders directory. The part where the screen goes has to stay transparent - like the example borders.

BTW - the border has a 'water' effect - made possible by the new 'frame_count' timer - shader developers can take advantage of this now - look at 'noise-mudlord.cg' or 'water.cg' to see how you can implement it.
