However YaBASIC does not recognise any USB keyboard I have tried. I have tested both v0.8 OPL and PS2ESDL on both USB HDD and USB Key and no configuration recognises the USB keyboard.
I have tested the USB keyboard successfully in uLaunchELF (Browser and Text Editor), ScummVM and VICE. And while in YaBASIC the keyboard is receiving power as I can operate the CAPS LOCK and NUM LOCK keys (indicator lights on the keyboard) but no key depressions are recognised in YaBASIC itself.
Could it be due to the fact that the USB port is being used by the loader program (OPL/PS2EDSL)?
Would it be possible to test your attached YaBASIC with a USB keyboard?
Thanks again.
Both loaders do register their USB libraries for use by the game too, so there should not be a problem of the YaBASIC not having access to the USB hardware.
It's most probably either because the YaBASIC USB keyboard driver is incompatible with the USB drivers used by OPL and PS2ESDL, or has compatibility issues with your USB keyboard.
Have you tried to re-plug in your USB keyboard after YaBASIC starts up?
