Why not a true OS for PS2?

ok thier is a folder called apps in th eps2os partition what goes in that folder ( what can i put thier and how do i use them)

actually you can put whatever you want but it don't affect nothing in future in this folder there will be stored the apps for the program manager, but actually you can put two elfs (APP1.ELF and APP2.ELF) that will be used with the fastlaunch feature, if you press L1 in the main screen you will launch APP1, if you press R1 you will launch APP2

ok so do app3 app4 work
so i have to wait for the next release to use the elfs in that folder

app3 and app4 don't work, only app1 and app2 (UPPERCASE)

ok eta of the ew version ( not to be pushy... and did you say their was going to be a graphics overhaul... if so are thier screenshots oh what to expect...Also in the next release will we be able to name app1 app2 to others so that they say L1 HDLOADER Fast Boot instead of L1 APP1 fastboot

no no... the next will have a true file manager, like dms explorer or crystal boot manager, but more easy to use!! you will be able to install elfs directly without using any script (this is what we want to realize)

there is no eta for the new version... it need time, maybe two/three months, i don't know exactly when it will be ready for release sorry
