I've got the HD loader to work with the MC exploit, I have it autobooting HD loader but I notice I could probably boot other programs with it. What all can I do with this PS2 menu. Sorry but a newbie.

search around. not only on these forums, but ps2dev.org as well.
in short: it is a file manager for all basic functions. (renaming, delete, create folder etc) along with abilities to transfer files to/from hdd, mc, and read from cdrom.
Also, PS2MENU can run homebrew programs from HDD, Mem card, CD/DVD & HDD. For example, PS2MENU is the only way to run homebrew programs from the HDD.
