I just dumped the BIOS of my V9, as there seems to be something either wrong with them or they were written incorrectly.

As most of you know, my PS2 V9 has the unique ability to boot Pressed Psone imports and backups via a disc swap and soft-booting the PS2 via PS2OS...Chatting with XianaiX (spelling?) recently, we came to the conclusion that it must be a bug in the way my BIOS were written that enables me to do this. I was thinking if it IS the BIOS, we might be able to exploit this bug somehow, but I need someone skilled to analyze the BIOS. If anyone can help me, please PM or IM me. Thanks.

Exploit it how? The BIOS is read-only. The only way you could modify another PS2 BIOS to do what you are saying as far as I know would be with a custom modchip and that would defeat the purpose of what you're wanting to do.
