Updating PS2 apps, is it worth it if everything is working fine?
So I reached a milestone today getting my PS2 Fat working with my IDE HDD with the help of some kind forum members, especially RandQalan.
I'm using FMCB, uLE, all the usual apps, and so far what I've tried (actually only tried SF3 as a test) works fine but I'm wondering if there's any point in upgrading to the newer versions?
I'm worried that things will start to break if I do this, config files will get messed up, menus won't work etc.
Is upgrading an app just as easy as copying over the old version? Everything else stays in place?
I'm using uLE and HDLoader at the moment (I'm not even sure what else I should be using at this point), a lot of people have recommended OPL 0.9.1 though. How easy would it be to add OPL to the menu if it's not already there?
