All consoles made before mid 2008 work with FMCB. The new Slim SCPH-9xxxxx models with a Date code of 8C and a BIOS v230 dont work with FMCB. All models after this version also will not work with FMCB.
    read that

If it is a real MI chip, then he should just set it up for booting uLE as "mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF" through the modchip's DEV1 support.

This will let him boot directly into uLE each time he turns on the console, and from uLE he can start any other application he pleases using shortcuts he should configure himself for the main menu of uLE.

I honestly don't see that there is any real problem here, except that atulsharma00 may have wasted some time on trying to make FMCB work right, even though his bios is unable to boot it.

    Btw:
Using uLE v4.42a beta he should still be able to launch the FMCB menu, with the added menu commands visible, though he will have to do it from uLE, using its subprogram command "MISC/OSDSYS" which will launch an existing FMCB setup regardless of bios, as long as that setup is compatible to his console region.

    Best regards: dlanor
