Was there biosdump util or what happened?

I remember there being a thread about someone creating some custom biosdump util that dumped the bios to the memorycard and I can't find that thread/file anymore.

Was there really such version or am I just hallucinating?

I know there is an util to dump the bios throu the network but not to the mc

I'm pretty sure someone here posted one that dumped it to the mc but searches find nothing.

I got several "different" copies from the biosdump util, I will attach them.

I have not tried any of them, because my ps2 is at the repair shop.

which one do we use i see that both dumpbios.zip and dumpbios2.zip have elfs in them im a trying them right now

ok the one i just used was pal and it was BIOSDUMP.ELF the one in all caps. Is thier a NTSC version of this elf???

None of those dumps to the MC. ZIP/TGZ's have the old version and RAR has the new one which all dump to host.
