Yeah, I know they exist (in fact, the HDD currently inside my PS2 began with such an image), however I wanted to put forth a fully 100% legal alternative to those methods, similar to when I brought up and redistributed ps2rd as a legal alternative to the Codebreaker that many people were using (related to the widescreen hacks, if you may recall). Plus, AKuHAK's uLE image is tiny (1.85MB compressed, 128MB uncompressed), as it basically just overwrites the first 128MB and then other partitions can be recovered with WinHIIP, and thus faster to write to HDD. The HDDOSD image I used as a base (which had nothing installed but the HDDOSD itself, and the necessary standard Sony partition layout) was 8.48MB compressed, 2GB uncompressed.
