To all users of Action Replay Max Evo, the CD's which the Max Media Creator creates are UMCDR CD'S & SNES-STATION has no support for UMCDR. Do not ask in this forum how to make SNES-STATION load up CD's created with Max Media Creator because SNES-STATION will not load up CD's created with Max Media Creator.

If you make threads or posts about asking about the info I posted above, the threads & or posts will be deleted or closed because the question in the paragraph above has been asked too many times.

There is a rumor of a hacked SNES-STATION which was hacked to support UMCDR. Do NOT post downloads of the hacked prog or links to websites which have the hacked SNES-STATION. UMCDR is dead & the author doesn't want UMCDR software distrubuted on PS2 Scene.

This will be updated when new info comes out.

First of all, this is updated info about SNES-STATION. I am putting this here because there have been too many newbies starting new posts asking about SNES-STATION info which has already been posted.

    Here is the info:

First of all, SNES-STATION will not run on unmodified consoles as is. You can load this prog using the PS2 Independence Exploit & it will run but you can't load roms from CD because of the protection that Sony put into the PS2 consoles.

To load SNES-STATION, you have to have a PS2 fitted with a modchip. Swap tricks also work, you can read what swap tricks work for this prog at http://ps2emu.dcemu.co.uk/snesfaq.shtml .

SNES-STATION only loads roms from CD's. Don't make treads/posts asking if it supports HDD, host, pen drive, et al because only loading from CD's is supported. There are rumors of a hacked SNES-STATION which supports UMCDR, don't make threads/posts asking for this hack.

You need about 20+ roms on the disc for SNES-STATION to run. The FAQ (located at http://ps2emu.dcemu.co.uk/snesfaq.shtml ) above says that the prog doesn't support zipped roms, the FAQ ( http://ps2emu.dcemu.co.uk/snesfaq.shtml ) is for an older version of SNES-STATION, the new version of SNES-STATION (from December 2003) supports zipped roms.

Roms must be placed in a folder called roms.

If there is any info that you want added or any info that is wrong, don't start new threads, Private message me & I'll add/change the info.

Any posts/threads asking for info which is already stated in this thread will be closed.

    Ok, here is an update.

Snes-Station can now be run on a unmodified console. You need to burn a CD as a CDX & use Mcloader to load it.

    There is a guide at http://home.comcast.net/~dustinstern/sneshowto.htm .

Thanks to birdwig for private messaging me the above website.

To PS2-Scene users, I left the PS2-Scene months ago for the XBOX scene which is why I ain't on this site too much anymore.
