well i downloaded snes station 2.4 USB, this one:
    http://sksapps.com/emu/snes/snes_0_2_4_usb.rar

running on an unmodified V15 via ulaunchelf with freeMCboot 1.5,

the emu starts, but the screen is completely displaced and its using NTSC instead PAL.

so i opened the configuration and switched to PAL,
after saving the configuration the emu just freeze, i can do nothing but the music still plays further.
only thing i can do is rebooting the console.

i restartet the emu and just recalibrated the screen,
same problem again when store the screen position, it freeze.....

ok then i copied the emu from USB to the MC, deleted the save folder
(there was .sys and .ico file inside afaik) and started the emu from there (MC)

    same problem happened again.

    can someone help me out?

is this because i'm using freeMCboot or i have an V15 or what?

    The same here...
    But saving takes some time.
Have you tried to boot the emu via fmcb and botton pressed?

Tried booting direct by FMCB and deleting snes_emu folder on mc, neither worked, only way i got it working was when it was frozen momentarily holding the power button on my v9. Hopes this helps solve the issue, but at least it may provide a workaround until solution is found or until PS2SNES9x is a little bit further along

    Sincerely,

    Gildor

i'm using hdd patched snes-station, worked fine w/ uLE usng exploit, haven't tried w/ a disc in, will try and report back as soon as ps2 and tv are avail.

    Sincerely,

    Gildor

    EDIT:

just tested with disc in drive when starting snes-station-no freeze up, looks like snes-station is using disc control like uLE disc control setting being on, wonder if there would be a way to patch it, i know i don't have the skills needed to do so, even if there is a way, but at least we know why its locking up (at least for v9 and up). but take my word for it. everyone that has been having this issue try it and please report back so we can make sure that this is the issue.

I also have that problem, but the laser of my ps2 is dead and a cd is useless now. I got around that problem by making a config file for snes-station. I cannot change the settings though
I think it's because of fmcb since I never had that problem with the "old" cd trigger-exploit.

    @Tommi:

Please try the same on an other console and place in a disc in drive,...
I explained before, what is my suggestion.

    gildor matches my opinion.

Well, I cannot test it on another ps2 since I don't know of anyone who still has his ps2.
Yeah, the disk control could be it. I tried it on a working ps2 years ago and there was always the ps1 trigger disc in the drive.
