ok so I was wondering on how to make it work since snes only looks on the dvd drive so i tried making an image with the roms in its own folders and the elf on the root built the image and patch it and for my trouble I was rewarded with a magenta screen that stayed for quite sometime so I humbly ask you psx Lords for assistance on this matter

    my thanks in advance.

    ps

only looks on the dvd drive?

snestation has usb support! mc support too even if i remember correctly!

as far as a dvd goes im sure a little searching would find your awnser, or you could just patch a premade iso of it.

sorry if none of this is of any use.

Yes it is, but perhaps not by booting the emulator elf directly (I never tried that).
But you can definitely boot uLaunchELF from an ESR disc, and then use it to launch the emulator from the same disc.

Alternatively you can boot uLE the normal FMCB way, from MC, and then use the ESR 'mcard' elf variant to relaunch uLE with access to the ESR disc from which you then launch the emulator with access to the ROMs on the DVD.

Finally you can start looking for newer versions of SNES-Station, as there are versions available with support both for USB drives and for IDE drives. So you really don't have to keep loading ROM files from DVD, just because your current emulator version has that limitation.

    Best regards: dlanor
