Snes Station –
I put changed the file name of Snes station to autoexec.elf, and then i used Max media creator and burned the file. when i put action replay max in the ps2, i hit media player, then i opened up the drive, and put the cd with snes station and a rom on it in the drive, snes station started but could not recognize that there were roms on the cd. anyone know how to make it work? also is there any other emulators or any exploits or basically any extra that i could put my max flash drive and load it onto the memory card?
I tried it too and got the same result. I also tried it thru the Pen Drive and instead of no roms showing I got a bunch of folders and a dummy file, but no games.
i did it with a pen drive, same result as you... im hoping that someone can come up with some more emulators that work with AR Max. Becuase that would save the hassle of modding you ps2 to play emulators
Well anyone try this yet? I can't get it to work. If the main menu comes out, there's gotta be a way to get the games to come out? Right? I also noticed that on my Memory Card that there was a SNES icon, about 80kb in size. Can someone get this working for us poor unmodded folk? :P
It must be a problem with booting snes station from the evo player. Chances are there is no way around it, except (for the unmodded) install ps2menu to MC with exploit, along with snes-station in the same directory (boot with evo) then boot with ps1 disc as specified. PS2Menu will come up, navigate into your MC, and find snes-station in a system folder.
Load the SNES EMU off of anything.
When the menu is there and annoyingly reporting no ROMS or directories
1) you simply press SELECT.
2) Insert the big TOC disc( make sure you do it the proper way, using the eject button )
3) Then when it stops spinning after reading the TOC( in which it never does, you will have to trick it out, be careful; make sure it does not behave like a UFO into your living room ), use some black magic ( swap the discs without opening the tray, you'll have use slide card or lid top to accomplish this.
4) Then press X, and all the ROMS from the DVD show up.
I've also heard that SNES Station won't work if you have less than 30 roms, this might be why it didn't recongize that you have roms on the CD.
SNES station doesnt' have any nicee UMCDR support like PGEN does, so you can't read ROM cds wihout a modchip or swap trick.
Nice one, thats for the DVD howto. ( Still testing to see if it will work for more than just me, and a few other people ( And thats a bad rip from the real thing :/ ))
