    Great news. I like scumm

But unfortunately, I heard that Datel's AR Max Evo won't start it. I suspect
that the AR simply can't cope with ELFs of this size... but that's just a
    wild guess.
    PS2-Packer v.0.4.4 results:

    Compressing SCUMMVM.ELF...
File compressed, from 5412368 to 1980804 bytes, ratio = 63.40%

Even the packed version doesn't work with EVO, with uLE it does.
Though I can't add games that are on my pendrive

Though I can't add games that are on my pendrive
Why not? I have no problems at all, please explain?

But It's not like I didn't have my problems initilally. I spent 3 hours figuring out how to even boot the thing from uelf, it froze every time after selecting a game. I was near tears and crying like a baby.

Note to others, disc control must be "on", or else it wont work.

wow! great news! I really missed being able to boot from the HD when I downloaded the latest ps2-scummVM-version. Does anyone know If I can keep my old game-dir-settings and only replace the scummVMprogram files?

Now the only thing left is for the ScummVM-quit-button to be able to execute mc0:/BOOT/BOOT.ELF so that it be a real exitbutton

Ok, I had to copy all game files to the root directory. I had a directory called "sky-floppy" (Beneath a steel sky) with the files in it, but that didn't work.

BASS does work with the files in the root dir. I also had to turn off the music because there was a problem with the sound driver. But it works great without sound. It's great.

Hmm this is weird. The first game must be in the root folder otherwise scummvm says that no game was found. If you want to add a game later, the program asks for a directory.

I'm really confused by all the comments in here about root folders and whatnot, I have none of those issues????

Are you sure you're doing what it says in the included .txt file?

You need to make a +ScummVM partition, and copy the games (files inside a parent folder named no longer than 8 chrs) to that partion. It doesn't matter where the actuall scummvm.elf + irx is placed and launched though, it can be any partion/folder, but the games wont work from HDD unless such a partition is present.

    I made hdd0:/+ScummVM in uLe
I also copied all the files from Monkey Island 3 into its own folder inside that partition called Monkey3

ScummVM runs fine from HDD but I do not get access to Monkey3.

Did you go to "Add Games" or whatever and add the game?

Yes, it tells me that there are no games on the harddrive.
