I thought You mean window promt.

Both telling You the same? Both, i mean: "mc info" and "mca promt" which show up before formating operations:

Has anyone else had problems running MCA on early version PS2 consoles? I tried running it on an early PAL console today. I think it's a V3 console, 10 screws on the underside. The console just seemed to hang at a black screen. MCA works fine on my later-version PlayStation 2 consoles (SCPH-30003R, SCPH-39003, SCPH-77003).

    I've used it successfully on my SCPH-70012, SCPH-79001 and SCPH-90006. ;-)

According to Berion you should use CLI (Command Line Interface) and not GUI (Graphical User Inter) for this purpose:
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f19/memo...65/#post898266 (Memory card doesn't show up after MC Annihilator format)
You can download ffgriever's MCA 1.0a release here
http://psx-scene.com/forums/f153/fmc...91/#post440514 (FMCB and 128mb Mem Card a success!)

AFAIK you have two tools to run this MCA 1.0a ELF via CLI approach:
    - radshell (Radad's Shell) - It's a PS2 Side Command Line Interface Shell, or
    - ps2client (PC side command line shell), among with ps2link (PS2 side client).

The cli version will let you do that, but do not try it. The card will quickly become corrupted (can be quickly reformatted to proper values, though). Page size and block size are specified by hardware not software.
