Becasuse if the IOP is used in ps1 mode it loses access to the ps2 parts, including the dev9 interface. so the emulator must run on the EE instead of just using the IOP.

yeah... sorry but i was fine with knowing nobody wanted to do it. i was lost after the iop's and the eep'sbut if it sounds technical than i am for it.

If someone can make a n64 emulator for the psp then it should be easy compared to that in making a ps1 emulator for the ps2.

Maybe a psx emulator wasnt made because well... the ps2 hardware runs psx apps? lol

I really wish there were a way I could run my PS1 games from DVD/HD. CD-Rs just kill my optical drive.
