    Anyone know any know Commodore 64 / 128 emulator's for the PS2?
I found called PS2Vice that works pretty good this version has been patched to read roms off mass as well, I found another patch too that let's you use the analog stick as the d-pad / up/down/left/right keys instead but I don't know how to apply it can someone upload a working package with it applied
there's also a version called ps2vice-1.22 can't find it anywhere, is that the latest version?

I also found another emulator called ps2dc64 but I couldn't get it to run I was granted with some Scottish Catholic Church donation add then it froze

EDIT: NVM found it I guess PS2DC64 only works via CDVDrom unless someone's made a mass / USB or HDD mod? does it work with HDLoader and USBAdvance?

PS2Vice 1.22 actually should include the joystick feature as well the pendrive support, an improved compatibility and some other minor stuff.
    Other version are quite obsolete.

PS2DC64 is too crappy, avoid it :-)

Do you know how to use Tape Clean by Stewart Wilson?
I see .D64's load almost instantly where as the original .TAP's run at the normal speed although quicker because of the emulation and quicker file access as opposed to the slow as shit cassette drive back in the day, half an hour to load a game I think I had two where it perfectly tuned your cassette drive using a screwdriver to adjust the POT resister using a paper pointer as a mark, you then swapped out the cassette for a game cassette and it turbo loaded it.

Do you need to embed some turbo loader into a .D64? seems a lot of them have trainers embedded into them.
How do the file formats stack up speed wise?
    .TAP, .D64, .T64, .PRG - Extracted program.

Also is there anyway to get it to run games in 16:9 stretched full screen instead of being 4:3 in the center of the screen would I need to make a patch? also when I go to save the config it tries saving it host instead of mass did he forgot to patch that line?

I know what you mean.. many of us experienced that situation back in the '80s, it really was a frustration try to manage that "backup" tapes rolling with screwdrivers and (in my case) listen to the high volume TV speaker in order to get up with the best sound!

I don't really know. D64, T64 and PRG are for sure supported and the ps2vice run it without a clue as the other emus for PC. If I understand, you want speed up just tape images loading?

Probally you need to patch the source for doing that via software, since the emu support just 4:3 PAL/NTSC, but for most LCD you would have quickly to set up your TV to reach 16:9.

also when I go to save the config it tries saving it host instead of mass did he forgot to patch that line?
Again, just try 1.22 version and see what happen.
Here it is the reference webpage for the last version of ps2vice by Kranold (the update's author)

    Bye!
