Does anyone have any solid idea as to when they're planning on releasing it?
Man, I remember when v1.50 came out. Streaming A/V support!!! On a free program! Those magnificent bastards really do amaze me. I can't wait to see what v1.6 will offer.

I think they're gonna sell it (not sure, I might be wrong).
they probably won't sell it although they do think that it is better than the other availible mediaplayers out there. (i think the same in many ways)
If anything they will wait until the xploder and armax mediaplayers get out there. right now, hermes is wanting donations for his hard work....and i cant blame him.
Planning on maybe selling something that use open-source code and asking for donation are two things who don't go too well together IMO.
i dont think its open source. thats why they have licenses. Right now its just donations. There has been no official word on selling it.
I didn't say the medialplayer was open source, I said that they used open source code in their player.
isnt that what the problem with hdloader was?
Yep, and it's even worse with HDLoader since they aren't offering it for free on the net like the past version of the Reality Mediaplayer.
i thought that they said they weren't going to release it now because of No Funds and Hermes their main coder wants to quit/retire
oh no, Hermes already 'retired' but donations can make him change his mind and come back. go figure.
