what is the highest bitrate ps2reality can handle without skipping?
i encoded some divx files with 720x576 1600k vbr and 200k vbr mp3 audio and it pauses for just a sec every 5seconds or so.

I'm not sure about the bitrate but if you're soley just trying to stop the skipping you could set the play back quality under the configuration to medium or low since default is set high, just my 2 cents.

Yeah... the network can't handle streaming such high quality media. Just set the quality to medium... then see if that floats it's boat.
