I created a ps2-mame cd for my playstation 2, I have a magic 3.1 mod chip installed and it loads the CD but then it just ends up with a blank screen. I followed the instructions using cdgenps2. Anyone have this problem?

Yeah, same here. I mistyped the gameslist the first time and I thought that was the prob, but the second disc is copied exactly as outlined and all i get is the blank screen?Any suggestions are appreciated.

I finally just bypassed the cdgen crap and used nero to burn the cd in mode2/xa and it seemed to work. but not many games work with mame and the ones that do dont play right.

    So in Nero?

Copy root files, and then a folder with the roms?
I noticed my roms have several files, can you dump several roms into the same folder, or should you use a seperate folder for each rom?

It's not a good emulator. It seems like someone started it, got it to load and function at a minimum level and pulled a George Kastanza ..... "I'M OUT".

At this point its not even worth burning onto a cd. few games work right. much better off using the snes or pgen emulators for now.

I have also found the Atari 5200 emulator to be fairly useless. Has anyone ever spent the time trying to burn the colecovision emulator to CD?
