PS2 VGA Problem( PAL & swap)
PS2 VGA Problem( PAL & swap) –
03-29-2007,08:36 PM
Hi, i have a Matrix infinity modchip forcing VGA mode, a PS2 SCART RGB cable, and a RGB to VGA adaptor (without chips like lm1881, just joining wires), and a Sync to Green monitor.
I can play NTSC and PAL games and they look ok, but i CAN'T play PAL games correctly when i use CD-LAUNCH, uLAUNCH, or any other launcher. Looks like they switch off the MATRIX INFINITY force VGA mode, and they output only the upper half of the screen, thinning the image with black borders on right an left. (looks like a sync problem)
Anyway, i wouldn't like to separate games and reburn them.
Builing an adaptor with LM1881, to provide monitor with Horizontal and Vertical Sync, is really the only choice?
Or converting PAL compilated games to NTSC, and reburn them?? (not need to separate them), since NTSC compilated games play correctly.
i'll apreciate any help..
see you
PD:
PStwo 75004, PAL, with Matrix Infinity & RGB Scart cable.
