  1. #1 PS2 Reality mediaplayer does't play .avi files bigger than 2 GB...

Some avi files are as big as 3 cd-s, and when i put them onto a dvd-r, then i usualli merge them together, so this way, i can watch entire movie flawlessly. But there is a problem, when movie is bigger than 2 GB, then it won't work with mediaplayer, but my pc has no problems with playback.
I have mediaplayer 1.50 and it gives me an error like it isn't avi file at all....
Should i use udf format instead of iso 9660 format. and if it is so, then what kind of udf format should be used....

    what error is it?
how are you merging the files?
use gspot and tell me the resolution/bitrate/audio/etc for your 2GB movie.

i merge them virtualdub, error says that this is no t .avi file, same movie plays fine when it's not merged, and when the size is less than 2 gb then it also plays fine (when i merge 2 cd-s).

have you tried files of smaller size on dvd as well? you might be burning the disc wrong.

other than that...i dunno. i guess its a limitation.

yes i have, and works flawlessly, that's why asked a question about making the same dvd in udf format instead of iso 9660.
