    Im not to literate in OS coding but my theory is. If someone had the bios and drivers for the PS2 would someone beable to create a version of Windows designed for it???

    No. Windows is an OS designed for a generic computer with entirely different (bloated) specs than a game console.

    It would be possible to design an entirely different kind of OS for the PS2, optimized to make the most of its special resources, and to work around its inevitable limitations. But it is highly unlikely that anyone will really invest the amount of time and hard work required to do this well. It is not an easy task.

    Some projects have been started with the ambition to reach that goal, but it remains to be seen if they ever can do so. They still have a very long way to go...
