ps2 newbie dev –
hey, i'm have some knowledge of c++ and web programming with php over the last couple years and now i really want to learn more. Does anyone know some good articles/books to read about maybe programming and reverse enginerring, something i can use to start messing around with the ps2. Also, just some basic linux newbie guides where i can start playing with. Thanks for any help.
best windows tutorial i've seen: www.internalreality.com . you should have it setup in minutes (if you havent already)
Download my PS2 Development Environment from http://pulse.halifrag.com/ps2DevEnvironment.exe
It's a prebuilt dev environment for windows that will setup all the environment vars you need plus give you a desktop icon. Its self contained and includes all the pieces of cygwin that it requires.
And yes, before you ask, it is safe. If you don't believe me go to ps2dev.org and check the news section, its mentioned there.
Within the next little bit I'll be updating it to the new compilers too.
