Hey, how do I rip movies if the movie is in a .bin file instead of in pss files?

I am dealing with a game (.hack infection to be specific) right now that has movies that I want suck inside bin files... these bins do NOT open up with winiso (get and error that says wrong format...) Any idea how to rip a movie from that?

    THanks.

i too would like to rip movies from those .bin files especially the tekken tag tournament ones. I used rippss but got about 4 big pss files , and another program found 29 pss files in the bin but couldnt extract it . Are there any programs to extract them , damn i wish i had some programming experience

does the image burn properly? if winiso can't read it properly, it's not in the right format... it's a standard, so if it says it can't read it, it's not valid

just use a program called "splitOff" it can extract files from anything if you know the start and end hex location. Ive seen it used in quite a few nomod kits, and have used it myself. Its a very nice little tool, and can also repack files back into the original files. Its commandline based. Hope you can find it alright, I dont have a link... sorry

even with splitoff, I already scanned with filescan (the first version) and it only finds VAG files (sound). But there's no other place where all the video would be. I have 2 big file: data/filedata.bin and data/sound/sd.bin. I scanned both and I only find VAG files.

I'm trying to extract the video from DDRMAX2 by CSiSO, help!

P.S. The second release on filescan (filescan2.exe, july 2002 doesn't work for me, what am I doing wrong? The first release work but not this one.
