it would seem that no one is gonna do this..... i would kill to play willow, magic sword and s@@t like that..
I wanna do it myself, but the author hasnt lived up to his promise to release the sourcecode, and I need that to get a head start. Im not a programmer, just a ps2freak who wont quit.
But dont expect any Street Fighter, that'll never happen.
I first wanted to port an N64 emulator to ps2, but this wont be happening. Why? because an N64 has TWICE the memory of a ps2, that's why. Look, the ps2 doesnt NEED memory, like the old chipset machines. Arcade machines, like an n64 are nothing but memory, right? no media, just one big old chip. The ps2 TRANSFERS data to it's memory fromn the disc, so it only needs enough mem to hold the char to gether, your "man", and what it can do, it doesnt need to know the entire game all at once, like a chip machine, it load new data, room by room, like a dvd player plays a movie, got that? Street Fighter will NEVER play on a ps2, they arent powerful enough to do it. But a street fighter machine will never play a dvd.

A toxic agent on a dangerous mission so secret, even I don't know what it is, because if I did, I would have to kill myself. I don't even know who's side I am on.| « Previous Thread | Next Thread » |
