    Hi,
during my tests with a moded slim SCPH-77004 which has a USB-HDD inside instead of the
original CD/DVD drive i had the problem, that it can not start most of the emulators which are
using CD/DVD as a source for their ROMS because those emulators search for the drive during
start up and if they can not find any, nothing goes.

So i just tried a way around and made some ISO bundles for OPL instead.
I tried this many years before but without success, but now somehow it seems to work just fine
I use OPL v0.9.1 VMC on my PAL 77004 with the Unofficial FMCB v1.8C installer from SP193 (but not the latest one).
May be it also was working before and i just did something wrong that time.

Any ways, my questions here are:
---Why is there no MAME section where to download and chat about it?
---Is it under some sort of Copy Right protection?
---Has somebody else tried it with OPL and was it working?
---Can i post it here (without ROMs of course)?

Sure, the old MAME 0.5 is only capable to play very old ROMs from the 80s, but there are still
some great classics which i don't wanna miss on my PS2.

    For example:
    --The classic Frogger
    --Elevator Action
    --Arkanoid
    --The good old "GALAGA"
    --Mappy
    --Xevious
    --DIGDUG
    --Le Bagnard
    --Commando
    --And of course "Crazy Kong"
(i recommend the Alca Bootleg version)

During my tests i also figured, that it is possible to have at least 60 ROMs in the game list instead of 30
which were the limit mentioned in the tutorials, there is also no dummy file needed, because it loads
    from USB not CD/DVD.

And by the way, PGEN works also like a charm with OPL and it also saves to MC

Yesterday i tested a compilation with the SNES emulator and some roms with OPL.
Works also fine and saves to MC without a CD/DVD drive inside
