PS2 Arkanoid clone

Ive been searching hi and lo to purchase or download a Arkanoid type game for my PS2...

Is there maybe a homebrew clone or somthing out there?

Lots of arcade classic packs for PS2 you could buy...
Or you could always *cough* fund someone to come up with a homebrew one

...and no, afaik there is no homebrew arknoid clone.. yet.

ive only found 1 compilation with supper breakout but thats no arkanoid

ever since playing arkanoid and arkanoid revenge of doh on my ATARI ST Ive loved the series and later arkanoid doh it again on my snes.

Taito just put out classic compilations on the PS2 and left out arkanoid cause ATARI games threatened with lawsuit cause break out came first..... I was hoping that i overlooked a clone.

I tried running the snes version (which is the best arkanoid for home) on snes station but it plays real real slow.

Oh well.

What kind of funding would that take?????
I realize making a game is not that small a project. and one has to have the time.

just get snes station or Pgen etc.. and get a pdrom of arakanoid

the only arkanoid for snes doesnt run good on snes station and cant find one for pgen. i have complete rom sets for both.

maybe i have one and i dont know the name?!

hem...you could try the c64 version of arkanoid (with ps2Vice emu )

you could also give a shot with the UAE port by Ole

Just found out Arkanoid Returns by Taito exists on PSOne.... now I just gotta find it somwhere its kinda old.
