Problems with slim PS2 USB HDD setup
I recently managed to install FMCB, Open PS2 Loader, uLaunchELF and a couple other things onto my PS2 MC. Now it loads into Free MC Boot beautifully every time I turn on the system.
Thing of it is, I can't seem to be able to use my USB HDD with it.
Originally I thought it was merely due to it being too damn big (it's a 1TB), but when formatted in FAT32, USBAdvance manages to notice it, but won't let me format it. Open PS2 Loader doesn't seem to be able to load it, regardless of whether I formatted it with WinHIIP's HDLoader 48 or Toxic OS formats. And when it's plugged into the system at startup, FMCB never finishes loading. I'm stuck at the titular screen indefinitely.
Obviously either I'm doing something horribly wrong, or there's some kind of incompatibility issue...?
The HDD is a Seagate GoFlex 1TB Ultra-Portable drive [maybe it's not getting enough power?] and the ps2 is a v14 [I remember the number being 75001 but I can't recall the four letters before it.]
Can anyone help me out? I really don't mean to bother you guys, but it's been several days since I started this whole process, and it's getting ridiculous.
