    having a kinda weird problem for some reason codebreaker just hangs on the "Setting up cheats" screen but when i remove the hdd it works fine boots to hdloader and all but for some reason it just wont work with the hdd in it.
    Ps. my ps2 is a old fat model and in running Freemc boot and its all run from mc0.

    It's not hanging...it's like this when you start for the first time CobreBreaker and have HDD.

    CodeBreaker creates 512mb partition on you hdd and that takes time(I don't know if something bad is happened if you stop the process while CB it's creating his partition).

    Thanks for the help guys but any idea how long it normally takes? i did the repair thing and now it have been installing cb for about a hour

    Maybe it's depending on how big the hdd is.I have 160gb hdd and I don't remember how much time it takes but I'm sure that it wasn't more than 5min.

    Look at the PS2 and you'll see one led inside the PS2 is flashing(that's the hdd activity led)...I don't know if I'll fat PS2 have it.

    I have a 160gb too and its not flashing the yellow hdd led. Any ideas? im kinda lost right now been trying to get it to work for 3 hours now lol

    mine is 500gb and it takes from 10~18min

    hmmm what version of hdl do u have?
    is your ps2 chipped?
    whats your cb version?
    9.2-3
    9.2 & 9.3?
    the path and names of your elfs [hdl & cb] ?

    tried both cb version 9.2.2 and 9.3
    cb location: mc0:/BEEXEC-SYSTEM/Codebreaker_9.22.ELF
    Hdl location: Mass:/BOOT/CB_launch.elf

    that and if it still doesnt work try runing it from hd
    this is how it works for me:
    hdd0:/__boot/boot.elf # <= Codebreaker_9.2
    hdd0:/__boot/CB_launch.elf # <= HDL
