Problem loading List of Roms in SNES Station
Problem loading List of Roms in SNES Station –
Well, I did a search about SNES Station and I did'nt find any posts on how to fix this. I did everything the SNES Station said to do in order to burn it. However, when I load up the SNES Station, it does'nt show a list of Roms at all.
did you create a Roms directory? that would be the easiest way to find all of them. also, since you can actually get snes-station running, that means the cd is fine. my final question is what format are the roms in? .rar, .zip., etc..?
I created a Roms directory, but the format of all my roms are in .scm. I was sifting through the SNES Station posts and I read that I should add extensions of .scm.
thats why. its suppose to be .smc NOT .scm.
hope that helps.
Unfortunately, .scm was a typo on my part on this forum. I meant to type in .smc, and it does'nt seem to see the roms. It just has some gibberish after I go into the ROMS folder. And then it freezes.
Whilst you fine people are talking about this, I have a question.
I've got an AR MAX EVO.
My Ps2 isn't modded.
I can load the Snes station elf file but can't seem to burn a rom CD that works - I followed the guide form the snes station website & am running the latest verion of Snes station....
In a related question, does anyone know if SNES-Station currently supports CDX or UMCDR burns? I don't have a chip (yet) and was wondering if I could load the ELF from a mem card and then have it read roms from the cd drive...
DarkElrond, how many roms are in the folder? Also, what speed did you burn the disc at?
[oap] Jester, if you are not modded, then you need to use a swap trick to get your disc with ROMS in the drive to work. Meaning it has to be a MODE2/XA disc burned at a reasonable speed.
radracer, Snes-Station has not been updated since the discovery of the CDX or UMCDR uses. This is the same as HDD. Guess we will have to wait for the next version.
Roms? Ah well I have around 300 ROMS :/. I burned the disc at 16x. I would really like to get this thing working. I sold the SNES I had years ago, and I'm stuck with some Megaman X, X2 cartridges which I can't. Feel nostalgic about those games ;P.
I don't know if it'd help...but try burning at a slower speed, like 4x-2x.
