Problem with ExecFTP

Ok, I am totally stumped... I just cannot connect to my PS2. I'm using ExecFTP v0.69 and the latest FlashFXP. I never had a problem before but now it just WILL NOT CONNECT. I've tried 3 different PS2's, 3 different ethernet/xover cables...booting Exec from mem card and cd.....and nothing...
Mind you its worked in the past just doesn't want to now. I have a D-Link router, my gateway is 192.168.0.1 and I have the PS2 ip (config.dat) set to 192.168.0.105. Is there some kind of settings on the PC side I need to check? This just makes no sense...

This is the error I get:

Stop using execftp and use the function PS2Net found in the later versions of uLaunchElf.

Pick an ip where the last number is less then 100, try 192.168.0.44, since I seem to remember numbers greater then 100 causing problems.

Problem is the range my router gives is 100-199. I know this all worked before, But I have since changed to a new router (DLink DI-784) so I need to know what settings need to be changed to allow me to connect again... I don't want to go screwing all the settings up just to figure it out, I want to know exactly what I need to change to connect to the PS2.

Just go in to your router settings. In your address bar the default address to do so is 192.168.0.1 for D-Link if its not try 192.168.1.1. Now here is an example of what you need to change. Even though I use a DI-524, it should be the same screens you are seeing. Now just navigate to DHCP settings, and ignore the 172.6.1. part of the address as yours should be 192.168.0. or 192.168.1. and just change it like the example shows.

Just because the router assigns IP's in that range, doesn't make numbers outside that range invalid. Just try it and see what happens.
