PGEN (CJ ABCD Patch) Having Trouble Loading Roms from USB
I'm not entirely sure if this is the right place to post this, but I didn't see an official PGEN section, so...
I've been having trouble loading roms from my 8GB Kingston USB Drive, and it seem to be getting worse. When I load most roms, PGEN starts to load it, then I get a message saying "Something has gone seriously wrong at (Hex value) Press START to continue." It's getting worse in that roms that I used to be able to load (like Sonic the Hedgehog) can no longer load, even though I never replaced or changed to rom whatsoever. I've tried defragmenting the drive, and that didn't help. I also switched the roms over to another USB drive, only to get "This image is corrupt" instead of "Something has gone seriously wrong."
Is there anything I can do with either the roms (some in md and others in bin format) or the emu to fix this issue? Also, I'm using GSM at 480p to make PGEN display over my component cables, could that be contributing to the issue (taking up resources or something)? What rom type would you reccomend I use, bin, smd, gen, md, rom, etc. if the issue could be the roms I am using?
Never Mind, I fixed the problem by switching from the Codejunkies 48-Bit ABCD Instruction patch to Version 1.51. Now everything works perfectly.
