    Kingston data Traveler 2.0 -4gb: VID_0930 PID_6545\7&15b46421&0
    Kingston data Traveler 2.0 -4gb: VID_0930 PID_6545\7&192796d3&0
    MP4 chinese _1gb: VID_10d6 PID_1101\7&1fe0f241&0

a short note to all people posting about usb compatibility :

when you post your device details, make sure to include vendor id and device id. that's because some devices are actually the same "under the hood". (this holds especially true for those chinese "MP4" players or cheap memcard readers).

http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/usb_devices_view.html - how to get product id and vendor id of usb device under windows. or you can dig around the registry or find it somewhere in usb properties - it should be something like
    Code:
    USB\VID_1241&PID_E000\5&1DC3342F&0&2
    USB\VID_1241&PID_E000\5&1E9A0CB1&0&2
where VID_XXXX and PID_XXXX are the interesting parts. first one is vendor code, second one is product code.

on linux - just run lsusb

example - bluetooth usb dongle (well, not really a storage device, but for the sake of example )
    Code:
    lsusb
    (...)
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 0a12:0001 Cambridge Silicon Radio, Ltd Bluetooth Dongle (HCI mode)
    (...)
in this case the device is identified as 0a12:0001, which means that the vendor code is 0a12 and device code is 0001.

    thanks for your attention ;-)
