patch codebreaker for hdloader and cbcmaker

How do I patch an original codebreaker 9.2 or 9.3 iso (I've got access to both) to boot to hdloader and accept unsigned cbc files, such as those made with cbcmaker? I should mention this is for an NTSC system/games.

I've got a retail 9.3 disc, but it's starting to get worn so it'll only boot now in certain orientations, and I'd prefer to save it for installing softmods (mcboot, independence exploit, etc.), since the price for a new (or even lightly used) one has gone sky high.

I eventually need to reorganize that tutorial. too much added in here and there to make full sense anymore.

Ya know, I'd actually read that tutorial, but somehow missed the part about the patch working for unsigned cbc files.

Thanks for the info. and for not grumbling about a question that's already covered in the tutorial/faq. I'll remember this next time somebody asks me a seemingly foolish question.
