PAL/NTSC boot disc

damn im getting a image from europe for ps2, very down lo and its in pal, can i make my own patch? or like some1 said, a generic patch that might work decently?

bighap, are you sick? they want PAL>NTSC
btw, that price is a rip-off, here in kuwait they sell some designed specifically for the ps2, NTSC>PAL60, works GREAT...

I wasn't being particular about the type (pal to ntsc or ntsc to pal) or thate model of the converter. I was just saying a converter in general.

my t.v. is from U.A.E. and u can switch from ntsc->pal and back. it has some other modes too. I finally used it when i modded my ps2.

I always wire the color fix to force ntsc output, but that does'nt resolve the frequency issue (rolling screen) just copy the damn game to an image file, and patch it. here, use this patcher, it works fine for me. Then the cd's burned will be ntsc.

That work well for DVD images to? is there even a diff?

I tried one cd, and one DVD, and it only worked on the DVD, but I theink the cd was a dvd rip, and that might have had something to do with that.

Hi Rotosound,

The two files you have attached, I believe are defective. can you check those two files again? I am getting the first file as 15k while the second file you attached 25k.

BTW, thanks for your help, I am going to try it on Gran Turismo Concept.
