    Is it possible to make a homebrew, like opl, but for playing dvd video isos from hdd, usb, smb? Like do many mediaplayers

    I don't see why not make a valid dvd-v image extract it then make a new dvd-v image with those files and include a SYSTEM.CNF to run a unencrypted dvdplayer.elf or dvdelf instead of a game elf, there's a elf knocking around these forums somewhere that just loads the standard dvdelf from bios if you don't have access to a decrypted elf. Should work with the various backup launchers, usb would probably have laggy playback though.
