I know I try to give people information whenever I can, but I really don't appreciate receiving personal messages about something people have posted a thread about.

If you have made a thread asking a question, it's going to be answered eventually. No need to ask people individually.

Again, as dlanor said and as I replied to your PM.

    NO

By the way, this in no way means I discourage people from PMing me. It just means don't PM if you've started a thread since I tend to check new posts.

The PlayStation 2 is much more powerful than an N64. However, it is not powerful enough to emulator the N64 without really efficient coding. And even if somewhat is able to create an N64 emulator, the ps2 will most likely not be capale to run at native speed.
    PlayStation (SCPH-101)
    PlayStation 2 (v4, v9, v18)
    PSP 2000 (w/5.00m33-prometheus 4)
    PlayStation 3 (60GB)

Sadly I can only agree. PS2 doesn't have the horsepower for a straight N64 emu port.

Agreed. The PS2 surely can run easily any N64 game, if they are converted, but running an emulator is a complete different history.

Maybe someday somebody will be able to find a way to "recompile" (much like dynamic recompiler in emulators) the whole game. But this would be a HUGE achievement, that I doubt it is even possible

on the bright side there is always project 64 and 1964 and others for the pc... or you could go out and buy a n64 and a few games for just a few bucks.

But there is an emulator for psp. I don't think that psp has more power than ps2.

If we're talking about pure mhz then propably yes but in a fact N64 never used more than half of its hardware resources so creating emulator should be possible with some programming. Just look how N64 games look compared to PSX ( which was much weaker when it comes to terms of hardware ) they can't be compared, unless we're talking about first PSX games.
