New to ps2 modding, help??

Ok, so now im not sure what to put on my memory stick

At the moment all I have is freemcboot on my stick: FREE_MCBOOT.elf and the install folder

I did also have SWAPMAGIC.elf somewhere but now I am confused

What do I need on my memory stick? All the instructions are now getting me mixed up :(


EDIT: I now have hold of the datatraveller, and its 8gb

So, what files am I putting on to my memory sticks again?

I put the freemcboot files directly onto both the datatraveller and my other stick, none of them are picking ny files up through the media manager

What am I doing wrong? It used to find the files

Some users had the same problem about black-screening ELFs, when they started them through the MAX-Media-Player.
FCEU actually starts in a lot cases and has it's own ELF-Launcher build-in (even thought, it is hidden in the 'exit-function').

Yes, but AR-MAX-Mediaplayer's ELF-Launcher isn't good at all.
It even has issues with non-complex folder-structures (i.e. a sub-folder with ELFs and ELFs in the root).
That's why it is good to have it as empty as it could be...

Keep in mind... You don't need to put anything onto the stick, until you got 'uLE' or another ELF-Launcher started!
Once you got that started you can put the new 'Nooby-Package' on your USB-Device.
