    1. Get hold of the latest version of launchELF.

    2. Get USBD.IRX from naplink (Google) You may find its named something like nap-usbd.irx, I can't check at the minute. You will have to rename it to USBD.IRX (All capitals)

    3. Read the LaunchELF instructions for where to place the IRX file.

    4. Put an ELF file onto the card using your PC/Mac.

Then do one of the following:

5a. Start LaunchELF and then plug the USB key in. If the key's light comes on then you should be good to go.

5b. Switch the PS2 off, plug the key in first, THEN start launchELF. If the key's light comes on then you should be good to go.

If both of the options don't work then you will have to start messing around with different USBD.IRXs. I have found the Naplink one the most compatible though.

    cheers

I've just realised that you dont state whether you use a modchip or not. If you dont have a modchip, or it is an old one, then look at this thread

    http://www.psx-scene.com/forums/showthread.php?t=25623

for information on how to set up an 'exploit' on your memory card. If you use LaunchELF as your BOOT.ELF you will have access to USB direct from boot.
