Need help getting started please!

I've been looking at some tutorials and even used search and i'm still a bit confused/don't know what to use.

Anyways, whats the best way to use these elfs and also send iso's to ps2 from pc?

I read that its best to use PS2menu and to burn all the elfs on 1 cd and then choose the elf i want to use from ps2menu, is this good/best?

I tried Faplink but it wouldn't install disgaea for some reason and i've been hearing that it won't work with games over 2GB. So is HDLDump good to send iso's to ps2 from pc? How would I do this with ps2menu, burn the elf to cd, choose elf at menu, then connect from pc to ps2?
