Use the sony network setup cd and set your ip address to a static ip. On most default linksys routers this is an ip address from 192.168.1.2-99. This way your ip address won't change and you'll always know what the actual ip address is.

ok , i putted my netwerk setup disk in , and it said my ip was 192.168.1.101
so i edited the config.dat file , launched the cd and it doesnt boot , copy'd the files to my mc and it also doesnt boot , i wasted many cd's on this , then i copy'd the cd without the config dat edited and it booted perfectly , any ide's or other easy programs to connect to your pc with a netwerk cable ?
already thx for reading and the fast reply
